Our psychologists who work with clients who experience anxiety concerns have specific skills, training and interests in working with a range of psychological issues associated with anxiety symptoms management and treatment. Types of anxiety seen may include social anxiety, performance anxiety, generalised anxiety, separation anxiety, excessive worry and panic disorder, specific phobias, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Anxiety is a commonly experienced condition presenting in children, teenagers and adults alike and there is a strong evidence base for psychological treatment to reduce its symptoms with beneficial mental health outcomes.
